Logistics Agent

Vector Atlantic, formerly known as Atlantic Turbines, is currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics Agent. Vector Atlantic, located in Summerside, Prince Edward Island is a world-leading repair and overhaul facility for Pratt & Whitney Canada PW100, PT6A and JT15D aircraft gas turbine engines. We are currently in search of a highly motivated person to join our team of technical, knowledgeable, forward thinking professionals.

Working in a time sensitive environment, the successful applicant will be responsible for the inbound and outbound shipment of aircraft engines to worldwide destinations. 

The Logistics Agent arranges shipment; prepares documentation; tracks deliveries and troubleshoots problem shipments. The position also requires that the incumbent carry a company cell phone and respond to emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills; work experience in international shipping and receiving, computerized tracking systems and the operation of a fork lift.
